BOOK EARLY FOR YOUR 2007 ADVENTURE - ONE OF LONDON'S MOST UNIQUE VENUES
Tarporley, a 1937 working boat which has been converted and run in London as Camden’s community narrowboat for 33 years

Skippered cruises on Tarporley are available to all groups from charities, clubs and schools to businesses and private parties (maximum 12 passengers). CCNA especially welcomes charitable groups of the less privileged and those from every section of Camden’s multi-ethnic society.
CAMDEN CANALS & NARROWBOAT ASSOCIATION’s aim is to offer the leisure, discovery and educational opportunities that the canals and a trip on Tarporley make possible. An introduction to London’s canals is to discover a relaxing taste of a historical countryside hidden around London, and we make it a good fun adventure.

A MAGICAL DAY ON REGENT’S CANAL
A DAY TRIP can be a picnic and a game of football at Victoria Park - a row around Little Venice in a dingy and a pint of beer - or a visit to Camden Market. Within a relaxing trip, floating around this hidden strip of London countryside, you will discover tunnels, many historic structures, a wealth of nature, a few locks to sort out and you will just have to try steering this giant iron boat. Great company, food and even a touch of music, it is impossible to imagine a more enjoyable day.

ESCAPE TO A DIFFERENT WORLD
A RESIDENTIAL CRUISE will bring out the gypsy hidden within everyone - aboard a small floating home you can really become a great explorer - discover the River Lee and the Lee Valley Country Park to Hertford - venture onto the River Thames or float to Rickmansworth on the Grand Union Canal. Awake each morning in a completely different world. There is so much to see and do, try to catch a fish or we could even develop your skills as a canal folk artist! Must be the cheapest accommodation for visitors to explore London.

Flick through these pages and see how you can experience Tarporley, and discover the hidden magic of London’s waterways in the safe hands of CCNA, the professionals in tailoring waterway adventures for all ages.

WHY NOT BECOME A CCNA VOLUNTEER?
We always need more volunteers to keep Tarporley running through the year, from maintaining her engine and electrics, painting her, promoting her, keeping her clean, crewing and steering her.
Whatever your age or time you have available it is a lot of fun. Tarporley belongs to the community and is yours to enjoy.
(Training can be given to become a captain of the boat).
