What could be more perfect than a day out
cruising along the Regent's Canal?
CCNA run
fully skippered cruises aboard Tarporley every day of the
week for groups of twelve passengers. You can decide on how you
would like to use the boat and CCNA will make it happen. Bring
your own food / tea / coffee / packed lunches etc., or if you
prefer, buy lunch out at a stop along the way. The more active
groups will wish to help work Tarporley through the locks or
take a hand at steering, a day trip can be an invaluable experience
for children. Our boat offers a unique living history lesson, being
the only original working boat still employed in this fashion
based on the Regent’s Canal.

create the ideal venue – give us a

Tarporley has been
designed to carry 12 passengers in comfort and has a fully fitted
kitchen and toilet/shower room. Please bring your own
food/tea/coffee/packed lunches etc., or if you prefer, buy lunch out
at a stop along the way. You will need to bring outdoor clothing
suitable for the weather conditions at the time and flat rubber sole
footwear. If the weather is wet, remember that most of
Tarporley is enclosed – and she is centrally
heated. SAFETY is always the top priority, before setting off
there is a safety talk to ensure everyone is fully aware of how to
conduct themselves – Tarporley is crewed by two steerers, one
trained for CBA Cert. in CBM. |
